20th August:

Parish Celebration of Fr. Benedict's service and leadership of our community at St. Luke's Church Hall, Theale at 19.30
We will come together to celebrate Fr. Benedict's time in our parish and to express our deep appreciation for all that he has done during this period. We will wish him a fond farewell and every blessing for his future work in his new parish in Studley.

28th August:

Walk The World
An opportunity for young people, and not so young, to walk approximately 8 miles and raise funds for World Youth Day and CAFOD around Stubbington and Lee-on-Solent along the South Coast.
The walk should be suitable for all and is approximately eight miles along flat terrain and follows a circular route.
The day will start with a short liturgy and there will be checkpoints along the route to reflect on the work of CAFOD and the message for World Youth Day.
  • Start: Immaculate Conception, Bells Lane, Stubbington, PO14 2PL
  • Lunch: St. John The Evangelist Church, South Parade, Lee-on-the-Solent
  • Finish: Immaculate Conception, Bells Lane, Stubbington, PO14 2PL
You can choose to raise money for World Youth Day or for CAFOD. Please register by August 16th. For further details and to register your group of young people please contact Dave Hill or visit the diocese web site.

Vulnerable Adults/Child Protection training at St. Joseph's Church Hall, Newbury
10.00-12.30 Child Protection
13.30-16.00 Vulnerable Adults
If you wish to attend both or either of the above courses, you need to contact Soraya Ciccarone to book a place.
Places are limited, so if you have not already attended one of these courses and are involved in voluntary work within the Parish, please do try to go to this course in Newbury.
